The recommended use level for NeoCide BND-99 preservative is 0.01-0.05% (about 0.1-0.5kg in 1000L reagent). Recommended to use it with other preservative. Chemically stable below 40°C and application in the pH range of 5-8.5. Soluble in propylene glycol, slightly soluble in water, the maximum solubility in water is about 0.5%,. The temperature should be greater than 15°C with mixing 2 hours in IVD formulation. Recommended to use NeoCide BND-10 to avoid solubility issues. | ||||
Application:
BND-99 is an efficient bacteriostatic agent, preservative, and protective agent that can be used in cosmetics, medical diagnostic products, household items, water systems, coatings, and paints, among others.
It combines the functions of a surfactant and a preservative bacteriostatic agent, is easily degradable, easy to clean, and does not contain secondary amines. Traditionally used in rinse-off personal care products such as shampoo and body wash.
BND-99 as an antimicrobial agent can replace sodium azide and thimerosal in vitro diagnostic reagents, used for clinical blood cell analysis, Cleaning agents, diluents, and buffers for biochemical analysis and immunological analysis.
The products have a wide range of effectiveness in inhibiting microbial growth. Good compatibility and stability, low toxicity and biodegradability, thereby extending the effective period and of diagnostic reagents
Expiration date for opening. Clinical laboratory instruments are prone to bacterial contamination during their use in hospitals. The use of this antibacterial agent significantly extends the shelf life of opened bottles.
Usage:
The general concentration of BND-99 bacteriostatic agent in in vitro diagnostic reagents is 0.01-0.05% (approximately added to 1000L of reagent).
0.1kg-0.5kg), it can be used in combination with other antibacterial agents to form a dual antibacterial system. BND-99 antibacterial agent can effectively
Inhibit most bacteria and fungi. It is unstable in high temperature and alkaline environments, and its color tends to darken in sunlight. It is recommended.
pH range is between 5 and 8.5. When used in rinse-off cosmetics, the maximum allowed concentration by the European Union is 0.01%.
Reference Cosmetic Products Regulations EC1223/2009.
BND-99 does not affect the activity of most enzymes, nor does it affect antibody binding in the reaction system, and it also does not affect
The change in absorbance of the indicator substance in the reaction can be used simultaneously as a bacteriostatic agent and a surfactant. This product is used at 40°C.
The following is chemically stable and stable within a pH range of 5-8. It is slightly soluble in water, with a maximum solubility in water of approximately 0.5%, soluble in propylene glycol. Due to the product's slight solubility in water and the need for fast and prolonged stirring, our company simultaneously
Provide a 10% BND solution of propylene glycol (BND-10) to the in vitro diagnostics industry, equivalent to the product offered by Corning Inc Bronidox-L
